Structures for public life.

My medium is the civic life people build together: places, rituals, exchanges, objects, and institutions that make belonging and power visible.

How We Hold: A Civic Ledger

What would a ledger record if its subject were collective care?

A new modular social sculpture that becomes threshold, communal table, and ledger wall. The work translates acts of care, obligation, memory, and shared risk into powder-coated steel, reclaimed hardwood, light, poetry, and hundreds of hand-marked plates.

The Plant Library installation

2021–22 · YBCA + Dreamseeds

The Plant Library

Visitors checked out living plants, learned care rituals, documented their relationships, and returned plants with stories for the next caretaker. Co-created with Nikiko Masumoto, the work asks how trust can be designed into a public artwork.
